About the place | How to get there | How to Photograph it

Church of All Nations

About the place :
Church of All Nations also known as the Church of the Agony or the Basilica of the Agony, it is a Roman Catholic Church. It enshrines a section of bedrock where Jesus is said to have prayed before the night of his arrest. The chapel was built from 1919 to 1924 using funds from many different countries (hence the title). The symbols of each country are incorporated into the glass of the ceiling, each in a separate, small dome. The architect of the building was Antonio Barluzzi.

Maps & directions :
Usually you will come to the Church of All Nations after visiting the church of Maria Magdalene. Take a right turn after going out from the gate of the Maria Magdalene church, continue to the end of the street and then turn left. The entrance to the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane is to your left side.
